8 oz Burger Bar

I must admit, I'm not normally a huge hamburger fan. I had heard a few good things about this place and decided to go on a whim. It was pretty spectacular, in fact it was the best burger I've ever had! I started out with the Melrose, changed a few things around, as it seems to be the norm to build your own! The fries were good, and the Cherry Vodka Sour was pretty fabulous. It pretty much tasted like a liquid pixy stick! The prices aren't too bad, it starts at about $8 a burger and the fries/sides are $4. But, they do have some combo deals before 7pm and a slider sampler that comes with 3 different burgers and 3 different beers. The Griddle Cafe

A friend of mine introduced me to this place and I fell in love with the french toast! I've gone back on multiple occasions and I've tried other people's food and I've always been pleased but I cannot go there without ordering the french toast, it's the best I've ever had! Just a note, I've seen the pancakes and if you order them I hope you have room, they are piled high and as big around as the plate, Tip: order one pancake, they don't have it on the menu, but you can!

Firefly Bistro

Absolutely Fabulous!!! I recently went to the Firefly Bistro, in South Pasadena, California, with a friend of mine, and what a treat. The picture is one they use to advertise for events, and I can't imagine a better place for an event. As you can see it's a restaurant that is inside yet outside. The atmosphere is intriguing, beautiful, and calm, and I can't say a bad thing about it. I have just as much admiration for the food. I had a braised lamb shank with mashed sweet potato puree, and asparagus and it was absolutely lovely, the meat was so tender and the flavors were rich and all there. I would have taken some home but I just couldn't stop eating it, needless to say my plate was completely void of any bit of food when they cleared it. My friend opted for the chicken and was also very pleased. Their menu changes on a regular basis which allows for creativity as well as seasonal freshness in their produce and meat selections. Grotto Pizza

I look forward to this pizza all year round. Unfortunately, they are only located in Delaware and Pennsylvania so I am only able to frequent them during summer vacation at the beach. Regardless, I would classify them as one of my absolute favorite pizzas. It is a thin crust style pizza with a very unique flavor. I highly suggest trying them out if you are in the area.
