Firefly Bistro

Absolutely Fabulous!!! I recently went to the Firefly Bistro, in South Pasadena, California, with a friend of mine, and what a treat. The picture is one they use to advertise for events, and I can't imagine a better place for an event. As you can see it's a restaurant that is inside yet outside. The atmosphere is intriguing, beautiful, and calm, and I can't say a bad thing about it. I have just as much admiration for the food. I had a braised lamb shank with mashed sweet potato puree, and asparagus and it was absolutely lovely, the meat was so tender and the flavors were rich and all there. I would have taken some home but I just couldn't stop eating it, needless to say my plate was completely void of any bit of food when they cleared it. My friend opted for the chicken and was also very pleased. Their menu changes on a regular basis which allows for creativity as well as seasonal freshness in their produce and meat selections.
